We are an all-girl rally team that has built a reputation as production class contenders. In 2008, the team will be the only all-female crew competing in the North American series.
But our team isn’t an all-girl novelty act. We’re serious racers. We have the experience and skill to earn the North American Production Class championship in 2008.
Driver Jen Horsey and co-driver Elise Racette have been competing and working in a rally car racing environment for a number of years. They can hold their own with the boys while being proud ambassadors of the girl-power aesthetic.
Both girls have experience in management roles at the highest level of the sport with a variety of mixed-gender teams. And both have proven competitive in their own efforts. Elise has co-driven for Suzuki Canada’s championship winning factory team; Jen is a regular class podium finisher. We have also partnered with a number of skilled female mechanics to support us in the service area.
As rare women in motorsport, this team has come together in 2008 to promote a sense of empowerment for the girls and women out there who still don’t believe they can do it all. We know they can and we lead by example every time we pick up a wrench or belt ourselves into our car.
What is lo-fi racing?
For the 2008 season, the team will move from our familiar Production-2 class Mazda 323 into a Production-3 class Mitsubishi Lancer.
We are proud to drive a Mitsubishi as the sister crew to the top-tier ACP Rally Team -- challengers for the top rally prize in Canada, the United States and the X Games.
